CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — Agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Nueva Ecija Provincial Office arrested a male drug peddler and confiscated some P68,000.00 worth of crystal meth (shabu) during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Talipapa on Wednesday night (May 28).
PDEA team leader identified the arrested suspect as alias “Romy,” 28 years old, resident of Barangay Talipapa, Cabanatuan City.
Recovered from alias “Romy,” were six plastic transparent sachets containing roughly 10 grams of shabu valued at P68,000.00, one mobile phone, and the marked money used during the operation.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives led by PDEA Nueva Provincial Office and Nueva PPO Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU).
A non-bailable offense under Sections 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), and 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) are now being readied for filing. (UnliNews Online)
