BALANGA CITY, Bataan — Agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan Provincial Office arrested three individuals and confiscated some P82,500 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation around 1:57 p.m. in Barangay Sibacan on Wednesday (Feb. 25).
PDEA Provincial Office identified the arrested suspects as alias Marlon, 34 years old; alias Ian, 44 years old, and alias Yeng, 44 years old.
Authorities seized 4 plastic transparent sachets containing more or less 12.14 grams of suspected shabu (worth P82,500), assorted drug paraphernalia, one cellular phone and the marked money used by the undercover agent.
The operation was a collaborative effort between PDEA Bataan Provincial Office, PDEA Seaport Interdiction Unit (SIU), Bataan Police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and Balanga City Police Station.
Arrested suspects and confiscated items are now in the custody of PDEA Region 3 in City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being readied for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
