PAMPANGA — Twelve drug suspects included in PDEA-PNP watchlist of drug personalities were collared by authorities after two separate buy-bust operations in Nueva Ecija and Pampanga provinces on Wednesday (March 11).
The sting operations led to the confiscation of approximately P136,000 worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) in Cabanatuan City and Mabalacat City, respectively.
The first operation in Cabanatuan City was consummated at around 6:30 p.m. at Barangay Camp Tinio. Six drug suspects were arrested.
Arrested suspects yielded 11 grams of suspected shabu valued at P74,800., assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.
Said operation was conducted by operatives led by PDEA Nueva Ecija Provincial Office and the local police.
Meanwhile, the second operation in Mabalacat City also resulted in the arrest of another six suspects and seizure of roughly 9 grams of suspected shabu worth P61,200. The said operation was launched at around 6:53 p.m. in Barangay Dau.
The second drug sting was conducted through the collaborative efforts between PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office, PDEA RO3 Special Enforcement Team (RSET), and Mabalacat City Police Station.
All apprehended suspects will face appropriate charges under Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Online)
