CITY OF MALOLOS — A male drug peddler tagged as a high-value targeted drug personality was arrested, and approximately P680,000.00 worth of suspected shabu was seized from him following a buy-bust operation at around 2:53 p.m. in Barangay San Manuel, San Jose del Monte, Bulacan on Thursday (April 30).
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan Provincial Office identified the arrested suspect as alias Jojo, resident of the said Barangay.
According to the team leader, Jojo is involved in the bulk distribution of shabu within the city and in neighboring towns of Bulacan.
Operating teams recovered one knot-tied transparent plastic sachet containing roughly 100 grams of suspected shabu (worth P680,000), one smartphone, and the marked money used during the sting operation.
Confiscated illegal substances will undergo forensic examination at PDEA RO3 laboratory. Meanwhile, the arrested suspect will be temporarily detained at PDEA-3 Detention Facility in City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
He will be facing charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Online)
