CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — A member of the “Sulit Criminal Gang” facing a murder charge was arrested by personnel of the Baliwag City Police Station (CPS) during a warrant operation conducted on Tuesday at around 2 p.m. in Brgy. Pagala, Baliwag, Bulacan.
According to the report of P/Lt. Col. Jayson F. San Pedro, Chief of Police of Baliwag CPS, the accused a 37 years old and a resident of Brgy. Pulong Bayabas, Bulacan, voluntarily surrendered to the Tracker Team of Baliwag CPS following continuous intelligence operations and coordination with his family and associates.
The accused is facing a charge of Murder in connection with an incident that occurred on June 7, 2025, in Brgy. Sabang, City of Baliwag, Bulacan. The Warrant of Arrest against him was issued on January 6, 2026, by the Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Third Judicial Region, Branch 9, Malolos City, Bulacan, with no bail recommended.
Investigation disclosed that the “Sulit Criminal Gang” is involved in illegal drug operations and gun-for-hire activities in the City of Baliwag, the municipalities of San Rafael, San Ildefonso, and nearby areas in the province of Bulacan.
After his surrender, the accused was informed of his constitutional rights in a language known and understood by him. He is currently under the custody of Baliwag CPS for proper documentation and disposition.
