CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Sixteen individuals involved in illegal drugs were arrested by operatives of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office after a series of separate anti-drug operations conducted on Wednesday afternoon (May 13).
Based on the report on Thursday, P/Col. Jay B. Baybayan, officer-in-charge, Bulacan PPO, said 60 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of over P933,844 including the buy-bust money used, were seized.
In Santa Maria, two drug suspects identified as alias Payo, 29-year-old and alias Michelle, 28, both resident of Marilao, Bulacan and both considered High Value Individuals were arrested after selling suspected shabu to undercover authorities during a buy-bust operation conducted by SDEU operatives of the Santa Maria police at around 3:05 p.m. in Brgy. Camangyanan, Santa Maria, Bulacan.
Confiscated from the suspects were approximately 55 grams of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price of P374,000, one piece of one thousand pesos marked money, three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, and one coin purse.
Meanwhile, Col. Baybayan said in Marilao town, a 29- year- old namely alias Yana was arrested after selling suspected shabu to undercover authorities during a buy-bust operation conducted by SDEU operatives of the Marilao MPS in collaboration with the SOU3-PNP DEG at around 4:50 p.m. at Northville 4, Brgy. Lambakin, Marilao.
Confiscated from the suspect was approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price of P340,000 including 11 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one piece of P1,000 marked money used in the operation.
Meanwhile, according to the report of the chiefs of Meycauayan, Norzagaray, San Miguel, SJDM, San Ildefonso, Calumpit, and Obando Police Stations, 13 more individuals were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations which resulted in the confiscation of 46 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated total value of P219,844 and buy bust money.
“All arrested suspects are now in police custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002,” Col. Baybayan added. (UnliNews Online)
