CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — More than 200 wanted persons, including some of Central Luzon’s most wanted individuals, were arrested by Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) in a weeklong anti-criminality drive that also resulted in the confiscation of nearly P9 million worth of illegal drugs.

Based on PRO3 records, from May 17 to 23, a total of 233 wanted persons were apprehended, of whom 34 were listed as Most Wanted Persons, through intensified manhunt operations conducted across the region.

Simultaneously, anti-drug operations led to the seizure of illegal drugs amounting to ?8,873,038.24, including around 1,286.52 grams of shabu and 105.2 grams of marijuana and kush.

PRO3 P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez, PRO3 continues to strengthen intelligence-driven operations, police visibility, and sustained law enforcement efforts in support of the PNP Focused Agenda of Chief, PNP PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.

P/Brig. Gen. Mendez said the accomplishments reflect the unwavering commitment of Central Luzon police forces in keeping communities safe against criminality and illegal drugs.

“Hindi tayo titigil hangga’t may mga kriminal at iligal na droga na nagbabanta sa ating mga komunidad. Patuloy nating ipaparamdam ang serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman para sa mamamayan ng Central Luzon,” P/Brig. Gen. Mendez said. (UnliNews Online)
