NORZAGARAY, Bulacan—After declaring and placing the entire province under a state of calamity due to the damages caused by floods and heavy rains, Gov. Daniel R. Fernando, Vice Gov. Alex C. Castro, and staff of the Provincial Government of Bulacan led the distribution of rice, a current program of President Bongbong Marcos that is being launched in every town and community in the Philippines.
The Bulacan LGU, led by People’s Governor Fernando, launched recently the Rice Distribution Program of PBBM in the town of Norzagaray, where 7,138 residents were blessed.

Recipients from different barangays gathered at the four prepared venues of the Garay Municipal Government. The events started at the San Mateo Covered Court, followed by the Minuyan Covered Court, the Bitungol Covered Court, and the last one at the Tigbe Covered Court.
Due to the threat of an energy crisis, President Marcos deemed it appropriate to distribute 10 kilos of rice to the citizens as assistance for their daily needs.
“This is also from your taxes, which are returned only through these types of programs as the national government’s response to your needs,” said Gov. Fernando.
“We in the local government are only the deliverers of their programs so that they can be distributed properly and carefully,” the governor insisted.
The sacks of rice were immediately weighed in front of the people to ensure that they weighed 10 kilos correctly.
The people of Narzagaray town were very grateful because they had additional food to eat, especially since many are currently worried that more typhoons will hit the country and they will definitely need food on the table.
It is known that the Rice Distribution Program is scheduled for today in the towns of Pandi and Angat, and the distribution of sacks of rice is also scheduled to occur in other towns in the province in the coming days. (UnliNews Online)
