CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Authorities arrested two drug traders during a drug buy-bust operation in Partida, Norzagaray, and seized eight sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) value of P68,000, along with marked money and a caliber .45 pistol with three live ammunition on Friday (July 28).
Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan provincial director identified the drug suspects as Michael Medalla. 25 years old, of Binondo, Manila, and Kenneth Dela Cruz, 31, from Brgy. Poblacion, Norzagaray.
Moreover, the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEUs) of Meycauayan, Malolos, and Hagonoy PS apprehended six drug peddlers and confiscated 22 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated SDP value of P39,000, along with marked money.
Additionally, two more individuals were arrested in a drug bust operation in Tabang, Plaridel, where seven sachets of suspected dried marijuana leaves with an estimated SDP value of 6,000 and marked money were confiscated.
All arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were taken to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination.
Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are being prepared for filing in court.
