In his speech, Regional Director Roseller Tolentino formally opened the event, highlighting its role in promoting work-life balance and encouraging participants to enjoy the games as a means of relaxation, building friendships, and enhancing both physical fitness and teamwork.

“This Sports Fest is more than just a competition; it is an opportunity for us to come together, strengthen our teamwork, and forge lasting connections among our employees,” Tolentino stated.

Assistant Regional Director Melquiades Sto. Domingo expressed his hope that the activity would not only run smoothly but also bring enjoyment to all the players, emphasizing that the competition should be a fun and memorable experience for everyone.

Key highlights of the ceremony included the presentation of team muses, with the muse from Tarlac 1st DEO standing out and being named the best, as well as the Oath of Sportsmanship led by Pampanga 1st Assistant District Engineer Alfie Lejarde.

Organized by the SAMAhan ng mga KAwaning NAgkakaisa – Regional Federation Employees Association (SAMAKANA-RFEA), the event concluded with the ceremonial toss, marking the official start of the games. (UnliNews Online)
