ABUCAY, BATAAN – Four individuals involved in illegal drugs were arrested and yielded some Php 170,000.00 worth of suspected shabu after a successful buy-bust operation at around 12:02 a.m. in Barangay Mabatang, Abucay town on Tuesday (Oct. 27).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan Provincial Office identified the apprehended suspects by their aliases as Lexy, male, 56 years old; Mary, female, 37 years old; Ali , male, 33 years old; and
Monching, male, 25 years old.
Approximately 25 grams of suspected shabu (valued at P170,000), assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money were recovered by the operating teams.
Arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at PDEA Region 3 detention facility in City of San Fernando, Pampanga, while seized illegal drugs will undergo forensic examination and confirmation at PDEA3 laboratory.
The operation was conducted through the collaborative effort between PDEA Bataan Provincial Office, PDEA Bataan Seaport Interdiction Unit and Bataan Police Provincial Office Drug Enforcement Unit.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being readied for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
