CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The first day of the campaign period for local candidates in Central Luzon on Friday (March 28), concluded without any untoward incidents, ensuring a smooth and peaceful start to the election season.
Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo, Regional Director of PRO3, confirmed the situation, stating, “We are hopeful that this peaceful atmosphere will continue throughout the campaign period until its final day on May 10.”

She assured the public that the entire police force remains steadfast in enforcing security measures for the 2025 National and Local Elections, including COMELEC and Law Enforcement Checkpoints, OPLAN Sita, and Simulation Exercises.
“The Philippine National Police, alongside our partner agencies, is fully committed to providing the highest level of security to guarantee a safe, orderly, honest, and peaceful election on May 12. We stand firm in protecting the sovereign will of the Filipino voters,” Fajardo emphasized.
