MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — A 50-year- old drug den operator known as alias Marko, along with his four cohorts were arrested after a successful buy-bust operation at Barangay Dau on Thursday night (March 12).
Other four suspects were identified by their aliases as Ricky, male, 41; Jojo, male, 48; Eddie, male, 36; and Binoy, male, 22 .
Operating teams recovered 8 pieces of plastic transparent sachets containing more or less eight grams of suspected shabu worth P54,400, assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked money used by the undercover agent.
Apprehended suspects and confiscated illicit drugs will be forwarded to PDEA-3 for proper documentation and disposition.
The operation was conducted by the combined elements of PDEA Provincial Offices in Tarlac and Pampanga, along with Mabalacat City Police Station.
Marko will face a non-bailable offense under section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and section 6 (maintenance of den dive resort) of Republic Act 9165. Appropriate charges under the same law will be filed against den operator’s accomplices. (UnliNews Online)
