CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — Four drug suspects were arrested and P68,000 worth of shabu was seized by Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Nueva Ecija Provincial Office during a Buy-Bust Operation in Barangay San Jose Sur on Tuesday afternoon (April 7).
The operation also led to the discovery and dismantling of a makeshift drug den and the confiscation of assorted drug paraphernalia at around 1:23 p.m.
PDEA Team Leader identified the arrested suspects, who are known by the following aliases alias Boy, male, 26 years old; alias Koko, male, 28 years old; alias Berting, male, 48 years old; and alias Popoy, male, 40 years old.
Authorities recovered 11 plastic sachets containing approximately 10 grams of shabu (valued at P68,000), drug paraphernalia, and the marked money used by the undercover PDEA Agent.
Confiscated illegal substances will be forwarded to the PDEA-3 Regional Office Laboratory for forensic examination and confirmation.
The operation was conducted by operatives led by PDEA Nueva Ecija Provincial Office, along with Cabanatuan City Police Station.
Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are now being prepared for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
