13 arrested, P511K worth of shabu seized in Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — The Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO), under the leadership of P/Col. Eugene M. Marcelo , Provincial Director, recorded a series of successful law enforcement operations conducted on Wednesday (May 6), resulting in the arrest of 13 individuals, including multiple wanted persons and drug suspects, and the confiscation of illegal drugs with a total estimated value of P511,836.

Based on the report, at around 6:30 a.m., personnel of Arayat Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested a wanted person for Qualified Theft in Barangay Magliman, Bacolor, Pampanga. This was followed by a buy-bust operation at around 8:16 a.m. in Barangay Camba, Arayat, which resulted in the arrest of a drug suspect and the confiscation of a caliber .38 revolver, ammunition, and suspected shabu valued at P7,956.

In Floridablanca, Pampanga, 3 wanted persons were arrested in separate operations at around 10:45 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 4:15 p.m. in Barangay Pabanlag and Barangay Paguiruan for the crime of Estafa under Article 315 of the Revised Penal Code.

At around 3:35 p.m., Apalit MPS arrested a wanted person in Barangay San Juan, Apalit, Pampanga for violation of Republic Act 9262. Meanwhile, in Guagua, Pampanga, two wanted persons were apprehended in separate warrant operations at around 3:40 p.m. and 7:25 p.m., including one for violation of Republic Act 9165.

In Mexico, Pampanga, a suspect was arrested at around 5 p.m. in Barangay San Patricio in connection with a frustrated homicide case. Another wanted person was later arrested at around 6:50 p.m. in Barangay San Pablo for robbery in an inhabited house.

In Mabalacat City, a wanted person was arrested by joint operatives at around 5:25 p.m. in Barangay Dapdap for the crime of Estafa.

Anti-illegal drug operations also resulted in the arrest of 2 drug suspects in San Simon and Guagua. At around 5:51 p.m., San Simon MPS conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Isidro, leading to the arrest of a suspect and confiscation of suspected shabu valued at P6,800. Later that evening, at around 11:17 p.m., another suspect was arrested in Barangay Magsaysay, Guagua, Pampanga for alarm and scandal and illegal possession of dangerous drugs, with authorities recovering suspected shabu valued at P21,080.

Moreover, a high-value individual was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted at around 6 p.m. in Barangay San Pedro Cutud, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The operation, led by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), resulted in the confiscation of approximately 70 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P476,000.
