CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — The intensified anti-criminality and anti-illegal drugs campaign of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (Bulacan PPO), in support of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), continues to yield significant results through sustained checkpoint operations, intelligence-driven law enforcement activities, and focused police interventions against criminal elements.
From February 24, 2026 to present, checkpoint and Oplan Sita operations conducted by Bulacan PPO resulted in the arrest of six individuals, confiscation of 3 firearms, and seizure of approximately 80.85 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P549,880.00. The operations also led to the apprehension of one violator involving smuggled cigarettes valued at approximately P204,000.00.
One of the major accomplishments was recorded by Baliwag City Police Station on May 23, 2026, when a 47-year-old motorcycle rider was apprehended during a checkpoint operation along DRT Highway in Brgy. Pinagbarilan, Baliwag City.
The suspect was initially flagged down for violating Republic Act 10054 after being observed driving without a standard protective helmet and side mirrors. Upon attempting to evade the checkpoint and resist arrest, authorities conducted lawful police action which resulted in the recovery of approximately 55 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P374,000.00.
In another accomplishment, personnel of the CSJDM Police Station successfully arrested two suspects allegedly involved in the killing of a female victim on May 24, 2026. Through intensive follow-up operations and data gathering, police operatives were able to locate and apprehend the suspects. Recovered during the operation were one caliber 9mm pistol loaded with live ammunition, approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at around P340,000.00, and other pieces of evidence believed to be connected to the crime.
The Bulacan PPO remains steadfast in its commitment to maintaining peace and order through aggressive law enforcement operations, strategic checkpoint implementation, and intensified anti-illegal drugs campaigns.
