CITY OF MALOLOS — A 60-year-old female drug den operator, known by her alias “Minda”, was arrested inside a makeshift drug den during a buy-bust operation on Thursday night (June 4) in Towerville, Barangay Minuyan Proper, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
The operation conducted at around 6:37 p.m., also led to the arrest of four other drug personalities and the seizure of approximately P68,000.00 worth of shabu.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) team leader during the operation identified the other suspects as: alias Zen, 33 years old; alias Jess, 40 years old; alias Popoy, 44 years old; and alias Kulas, 23 years old.
Recovered from the suspects were 12 pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing roughly 10 grams of suspected shabu (valued at P68,000), assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at the PDEA Regional Office 3 detention facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The operation was conducted jointly by operatives from PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office and the Provincial Intelligence Team Bulacan East – Regional Intelligence Unit 3.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are now being prepared for filing in court against the suspects. (UnliNews Online)
