ORANI, Bataan — Approximately P68,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated from three suspects following a successful buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Tapulao, Orani, Bataan, late Sunday night (June 14).
The PDEA Bataan Provincial Office identified the arrested suspects as alias “Jeff,” 25 years old; alias “Chading,” 44 years old; and alias “Yuri,” 21 years old.
Seized during the operation were four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing approximately 10 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard value of P68,000, one Android mobile phone, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects are currently detained at the PDEA Regional Office 3 detention facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, pending the filing of appropriate charges.
The operation was carried out through the joint efforts of the PDEA Bataan Provincial Office, the PDEA Bataan Seaport Interdiction Unit (SIU), and the Orani Municipal Police Station.
Cases for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared for filing before the court. (UnliNews Online)
