DENR mobile permitting offers quick, accessible services in Baliwag

BALIWAG CITY — The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) here officially opens its two-day “DENR Express Permitting on Wheels” at SM City Baliwag, bringing key environmental frontline services closer to Bulakenyos.

The initiative provides faster and easier access to services from the DENR, the Environmental Management Bureau and the Mines and Geosciences Bureau, including assistance on environmental permits and clearances, technical consultations, environmental compliance requirements, wildlife and land-related concerns, and geoscience information.

Information booths and help desks are also available to provide guidance on environmental laws, permitting procedures, and regulatory requirements.

DENR Central Luzon and stakeholders formally open the two-day mobile permitting initiative, bringing frontline services to Bulakenyos.

DENR Regional Executive Director Ralph Pablo encouraged residents, entrepreneurs, project proponents, communities, and other stakeholders to take advantage of the services offered.

“This program proves how government can truly serve the people and that is by making permitting faster, simpler, and more accessible. Kapag mabilis ang ating proseso, mabilis rin ang development. That is what public service means,” Pablo said.

The DENR Express Permitting on Wheels will run until June 24, 2026, 5:00 p.m. at SM City Baliwag.

The initiative forms part of the agency’s continuing efforts to bring government services closer to communities, reduce the cost and time of transactions, and promote greater environmental awareness and compliance among stakeholders. (UnliNews Online)
