PRO3 appeals for public restraint as San Rafael investigation continues

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) headed by P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez assures the public that a thorough and impartial investigation remains underway following the discovery of a vehicle in Barangay Talacsan, San Rafael, Bulacan, where a mother and her two minor children were found lifeless the other day.

Based on the report sent to the UnliNews Online on Sunday (Aug. 23), investigators are currently awaiting the official results of the forensic examination, an essential step in clarifying the circumstances of the deaths. All available evidence, potential leads, and data collected during the investigation are undergoing thorough evaluation.

No angle is being ruled out at this stage, and any conclusion will be based on the totality of verified evidence and official forensic findings.

PRO3 acknowledges public concerns about the incident and urges responsible information sharing on social media while avoiding speculation and unverified claims.

At this stage, assumptions unsupported by evidence may create confusion, affect the ongoing investigation, and cause further distress to the bereaved family.

Under Gen. Mendez’s direction, investigators are exploring all leads to find facts and evaluate possible criminal involvement, ensuring a thorough, objective, and evidence-based investigation.

PRO3 asks the public to allow investigators and forensic experts to complete their work. At a time when a family is grieving an unimaginable loss, compassion and restraint are equally important.

The public should only trust information from official police sources. Updates will be shared once they are verified and safe to disclose.

As the investigation continues, PRO3 asks for the public’s patience, cooperation, and sensitivity. Above all, let us accord the victims and their family the dignity, privacy, and respect they deserve during this difficult time. (UnliNews Online)
