CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan – Another male regional-target-listed drug personality was apprehended during a drug entrapment operation which led to the confiscation of some P102,000.00 worth of shabu on Saturday afternoon in Barangay Minuyan Proper here.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan chief identified the arrested suspect as alias “Pepe,” male, 44 years old, resident of Barangay Minuyan Proper, CSJDM.
The suspect yielded more or less 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000.00, and the buy-bust money.
PDEA team leader said that the arrested suspect is also included in the PNP top priority target.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives of PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office, Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit and Bulacan East Regional Intelligence Unit 3.
Charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) under Republic Act 9165 are now being readied for filing. Section 5 is a non-bailable offense which carries the penalty of life imprisonment and fine ranging from P500,000.00 to P10 million. (UnliNews Online)
