PORAC, Pampanga — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Pampanga Provincial Office have dismantled a makeshift drug den and arrested four drug suspects following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Cruz on Wednesday night (Jan. 7).
The PDEA team leader identified the arrested operator as alias Teds, male, 59 years old. Three of Ted’s cohorts were known by their aliases as Bill, male, 33 years old; Lex, male, 30 years old; and Isa, female, 36 years old.
The apprehended suspects yielded 4 pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing roughly six grams of shabu, with an estimated value of P40,800.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money used during the sting.
The confiscated illegal drugs will undergo forensic examination at the PDEA RO3 laboratory, while TEDS and his cohorts will be temporarily detained at the PDEA RO3 jail facility.
The operation was also participated in by PDEA RO3 Special Enforcement Team (RSET) and Porac Police Station.
A non-bailable offense under Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and Section 6 (maintenance of den, dive, or resort) of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against Teds. Appropriate charges under the same law will be filed against the arrested accomplices. (UnliNews Online)
