ORANI, Bataan –A 21-year-old male drug peddler and four of his cohorts were arrested by authorities, leading to the confiscation of approximately P88,400.00 worth of suspected meth (shabu) following a buy-bust operation on Thursday night (Feb.19) in Barangay Tapulao, Orani town.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan Provincial Office identified the main target of the operation as alias “JP”. Four other arrested suspects were identified by their aliases as Lisa, 27 years old; Jon, 21 years old; Tores, 30 years old and Yan, male, 30 years old.
Confiscated from the suspects’ possession were 15 plastic sachets containing more or less 13 grams of shabu (valued at P88,400.00), sniffing paraphernalia, and the marked money used by the poseur buyer.
The operation was conducted by operatives from the PDEA Bataan Provincial Office, PDEA Bataan Seaport Interdiction Unit (SIU), Bataan PPO – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), and Orani MPS.
Appropriate charges under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
