CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Intensified anti-illegal drug operations conducted by Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) resulted in the arrest of several High Value Individuals (HVIs) and the confiscation of more than 426 grams of suspected shabu worth more or less P2.89 million, along with assorted firearms in Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Zambales from May 22 to May 23, 2026.
In Guiguinto, Bulacan, joint operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 3 (RPDEU3), RSOG3, and Guiguinto MPS arrested alias “Jr,” 44 years old, during a buy-bust operation along Plaridel Bypass Road, Brgy. Cutcut at about 6:30 p.m. on May 22. Authorities confiscated around 200 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P1.36 million.

In Nueva Ecija, personnel of General M. Natividad MPS apprehended alias” Jim,” 55 years old, during a checkpoint operation in Brgy. Mataas na Kahoy at about 9:30 p.m. on May 22 after he allegedly attempted to evade police inspection. Recovered from his possession were around 60 grams of suspected shabu worth P408,000, an improvised shotgun with ammunition, a weighing scale, and other paraphernalia.
Meanwhile, operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Malolos City Police Station arrested alias “Atan” and alias “Soc” during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Panasahan, City of Malolos, Bulacan shortly after midnight on May 23. Confiscated from the suspects were about 81.50 grams of suspected shabu valued at P554,200 and an unlicensed caliber .38 revolver with ammunition.
In Zambales, joint elements of the Zambales PDEU, PIU Zambales, and Iba MPS arrested alias “Joe” and his two other cohorts in Brgy. Palanginan, Iba at around 4:00 a.m. on May 23. Seized during the operation were around 84.6 grams of suspected shabu worth P575,280, two firearms, live ammunition, and buy-bust money.
PRO3 Director P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez commended the operating units for the successful series of operations and emphasized the command’s unwavering commitment to the intensified anti-illegal drug campaign in line with the PNP Focused Agenda of Chief, PNP P/Gen. Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr
“Ang sunod-sunod na operasyong ito ay patunay ng ating mas pinaigting na kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga at kriminalidad. Hindi tayo titigil sa pagpapatupad ng batas upang maprotektahan ang ating mga komunidad laban sa panganib na dulot ng ilegal na droga at loose firearms. Patuloy nating paiigtingin ang intelligence-driven operations at police visibility upang mapanatili ang kapayapaan at kaligtasan ng publiko,” Gen. Mendez said.
All arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to their respective police units for documentation and proper disposition, while appropriate criminal charges are being prepared against the suspects. (UnliNews Online)
