CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — SM malls in Marilao, Baliwag, and Pulilan reaffirmed their commitment to championing community development through academic linkages, following the recent renewal of their partnership with Bulacan State University (BulSU) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held at SM Center Pulilan on May 19.
The renewal marks another milestone in both institutions’ shared commitment to supporting students through internship programs and ensuring the development of their knowledge, skills, and values in preparation for their future careers.

In line with this, SM will continue to conduct job and career fair initiatives, while also providing resource speakers and subject matter experts to facilitate learning sessions for students as requested.
Among the BulSU campuses covered by the program are San Rafael, Bustos, and Malolos in Bulacan.
Present during the MOA signing were Bulacan State University Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Warlito M. Galita, Placement and Public Employment Service Office Head Russell John B. Catalig, SM City Marilao Senior Human Resources Manager Prescila A. Salamat, and SM City Baliwag and SM Center Pulilan Human Resources Manager Veriza Faye D. De Dios.
Since its inception in 2022, the SM Supermalls Academic Partnership Program has been providing students with opportunities to participate in the company’s internship programs, equipping future graduates with valuable exposure and career opportunities within one of the country’s leading retail companies.
Aside from Bulacan State University, four other colleges and universities in the province also benefit from the partnership, namely St. Mary’s College of Baliuag, St. Mary’s College of Meycauayan, NU Baliwag, and Baliuag University. (UnliNews Online)
