CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) successfully solved the murder case involving a 37-year-old Korean national after the arrest of all suspects less than three days from the discovery of the victim’s lifeless body.
In a report to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez, authorities responded on June 17 about an abandoned Ford Everest in Bgy. Pias, General Tinio, Nueva Ecija.
During the subsequent police response and forensic examination, the lifeless body of a Korean national engaged in the distribution of Korean beauty products in the Philippines was discovered inside the vehicle.
Immediately after the discovery, PRO3 launched an intensive investigation involving crime scene processing, intelligence gathering, CCTV backtracking, forensic examination, and coordinated operations among various police units.
By June 19, 2026, investigators had successfully identified and arrested two individuals involved in the crime, the alleged gunman and a female suspect linked to the planning of the offense. Authorities also recovered the getaway vehicle and the firearm used in the commission of the crime.
Further strengthening the case, forensic examination confirmed that the bullet recovered from the crime scene matched the firearm seized from one of the arrested suspects.
Witness testimonies, CCTV footage, and other investigative findings likewise established the participation of the suspects in the crime.
