CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The recent arrest of a wanted suspect linked to a series of crimes in Pampanga has led to a significant breakthrough in the investigation, as two more victims have since come forward and positively identified the accused in connection with separate incidents.
Following the suspect’s arrest by joint operatives of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) and partner law enforcement units on Thursday (July 9), 2026, the additional victims voluntarily coordinated with authorities and provided information that may support the filing of further charges.
PRO3 Regional Director P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez said the development highlights the importance of public cooperation and timely police action in bringing offenders to justice.
“The courage shown by these victims in coming forward strengthens our case against the accused and helps prevent further victimization. We encourage other victims and witnesses to cooperate with authorities and assure them that the PNP will provide the necessary support and protection throughout the process,” Mendez said.
PRO3 reiterated its commitment to pursuing criminals relentlessly and ensuring that justice is served, in line with the PNP’s thrust of delivering Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman. (UnliNews Online)
