CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — An approximately 200 grams of suspected methamphetamine (shabu) valued at Php 1,360,000.00 were seized and two drug suspects tagged as high-value targets (HVTs) were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barrio Sto. Cristo, Caloocan City on Monday afternoon (July 20).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan Provincial Office told Philippine News Agency (PNA) this Tuesday morning, that the duo were responsible for the bulk distribution of shabu in Metro Manila and nearby towns in Bulacan.

The arrested suspects were identified as alias Vlad, male, 21 years old and alias Mat-Mat, male, 39 years old.
Based on the report of PDEA Bulacan, the successful buy-bust operation was the result of a month-long casing and surveillance.
In addition to illegal substances, the operating team also recovered the marked money used during the entrapment.
The confiscated drugs will be submitted to the PDEA Region 3 Laboratory for forensic examination and confirmation, while the suspects will be temporarily detained at the Region’s custodial facility.
The operation was conducted through the combined efforts of the PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office, PDEA NCR-Northern District Office, and the Police Drug Enforcement Group-Southern Operating Unit.
Charges for the non-bailable offense under Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) in relation to Section 26B (Conspiracy to Sell Dangerous Drugs) of Republic Act 9165 are now being prepared for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
