SSS broadens contribution payment options in Bulacan for Sta. Maria residents and workers

SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA — The Social Security System (SSS) has tapped Gabay-Kaunlaran ng Bulacan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GKBMPC) as an official collecting agent, giving workers and residents of Sta. Maria a more convenient channel for paying their SSS contributions.

SSS Luzon Central 2 Division Vice President Gloria Corazon M. Andrada and GKBMPC Chairperson Maria Teresa F. Bayombong signed a memorandum of agreement on July 23, 2026, formally accrediting the cooperative to collect contributions and loan payments on behalf of members.

Under the partnership, GKBMPC members can pay their SSS contributions and loans, and receive assistance with other SSS transactions during their regular cooperative visits, reducing the time and travel needed to keep their records updated.

Located in Barangay San Vicente, Sta. Maria, GKBMPC serves 1,254 members through savings and credit services, making it a practical payment point for SSS members in the area.

“Every contribution paid today strengthens the protection that cooperative members and their families can depend on tomorrow. By making SSS payments available through GKBMPC, members can conveniently sustain their contributions and secure their eligibility for benefits and loan privileges while managing their regular cooperative transactions,” Andrada said.

The partnership underscores SSS’ broader effort to expand its network of collecting partners and make contribution payments more accessible across Bulacan. (UnliNews Online)
