MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Ten individuals involved in illegal drugs were arrested inside a drug den following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga on Friday afternoon (Sept. 4).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga Provincial Office said the operation also led to the confiscation of some P108,800.00 worth suspected shabu.
PDEA Pampanga identified the arrested suspects by their aliases as Max, male, 55 years old; Jun-Jun, male, 30; Ric, male, 33; Enteng, male 25; Tonyo, male, 40; Gie, male, 35; Ria, female, 52; Pepe, male, 52; and Ron, male, 32 years old.
Operating teams recovered 7 sachets containing roughly 16 grams of suspected shabu (valued at P108,800), assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money used during the sting operation.
Apprehended suspects will be temporarily detained at PDEA-3 jail facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The operation was conducted through the collaborative effort of PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office and Mabalacat City Police Station.
Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are now being prepared for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
