CALUMPIT, Bulacan — The Calumpit Municipal Advisory Group (MAG) extended relief assistance to families affected by the ongoing crisis by distributing food packs to evacuees staying at the Calizon Dike recently.
The relief effort was led by MAG Chairman Glynn Javellana, with support from the Calumpit Municipal Police Station headed by P/Lt. Col. Leopoldo Estorque Jr., along with P/SSg Geraldine Triviño and P/SSg Junjun Batugal.
The activity aimed to provide immediate assistance to displaced residents while reminding them that the community and local authorities remain ready to support them during difficult times.
Organizers also emphasized the importance of unity and collective action in helping affected families recover and cope with the challenges brought by calamities.
The MAG and Calumpit police assured the evacuees that they are not alone, stressing that the spirit of bayanihan remains strong among Calumpiteños in times of need.
