PRO3 seizes over P1.5-M worth of shabu; arrests 2 drug suspects in separate anti-drug operations

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) scored another significant accomplishment in its intensified campaign against illegal drugs after separate buy-bust operations in Pampanga and Tarlac led to the arrest of two drug personalities and the seizure of more than ?1.53 million worth of suspected shabu on Wednesday (July 29).

In Candaba, Pampanga, operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 3 (RPDEU3) and the Regional Special Operations Group 3 (RSOG3), with the assistance of the Candaba Municipal Police Station and in coordination with PDEA Region 3, arrested alias “Donald,”, High-Value Individual, during a buy-bust operation.

Seized from the suspect were around 121 grams of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P822,800.00, along with buy-bust money and other non-drug evidence.

In a separate operation in Tarlac City, operatives of the Tarlac City Police Station, also in coordination with PDEA Region 3, arrested a newly identified Street-Level Individual identified as “Penpen.” Cpnfiscated from her possession were 105.37 grams of suspected shabu valued at P716,516.00, as well as marked money, a mobile phone, cash, and other pieces of evidence.
Police Regional Office 3 Director PBGEN Jess B Mendez commended the operating units for their successful operations, saying the latest accomplishments reflect PRO3’s sustained efforts to keep illegal drugs out of communities across Central Luzon.

“These successful operations reflect our unwavering commitment to the fight against illegal drugs. We will continue to intensify intelligence-driven operations and encourage the public to partner with the police in keeping our communities safe from the drug menace.”

Mendez added that PRO3 remains fully committed to advancing the Focused Agenda of PNP Chief, PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly in strengthening intelligence-driven anti-illegal drug operations and fostering strong collaboration with partner agencies and the community. Through these sustained efforts, PRO3 continues to uphold its commitment to delivering “Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman” while ensuring a safer and drug-free Central Luzon.
