Bulacan puts animal welfare first with free vet care at Singkaban Festival

CITY OF MALOLOS — Bringing compassion straight to the furry companions of the province, the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Veterinary Office extended free veterinary services viaVeterinary Medical Mission held on Monday (September 14, 2026), at the PVO Building, creating a special space for animal care as part of the Singkaban Festival 2026 and the “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat Program.”

Veterinary care and wellness checks touched the lives of 413 dogs and cats during the one-day pet care initiative, offering free spaying and neutering, anti-rabies vaccination, and thorough medical consultations, while also nurturing a deeper culture of responsible pet ownership and animal welfare through helpful educational materials handed directly to participating pet owners.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando emphasized the importance of extending the spirit of Singkaban far beyond the festive celebration of Bulacan culture and heritage, highlighting that pets deserve the exact same care, protection, and unconditional love given to every member of the family.

Bulacan Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Voltaire G. Basinang also reached out to local pet owners, encouraging them to regularly access and benefit from the daily services offered by the PVO.

(UnliNews Online)
