PDEA scores anew, dismantles drug den in Mabalacat City

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga Provincial Office dismantled a makeshift drug den in Barangay Dau in this city that also led to the arrest of 3 drug suspects and confiscation of around P81,600.00 worth of shabu on Friday night (June 21).

PDEA team leader identified the apprehended suspects as Edwin De Otoy y Villanueva @Kabog, 55 years old, male; Renan Hernan y Hipolito @Bagsik, 43, both resident of Champaca St, Barangay Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga; and Jayson Basilio y Camaya @Jay, 21, male, resident of Villa Paz St, Sta. Teresita, Angeles City, Pampanga.

Authorities recovered a total of five pieces of plastic transparent sachets containing more or less 12 grams of shabu worth P81,600.00; assorted sniffing paraphernalia; and the marked money used by the poseur buyer.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
