ANGELES CITY — A 24 year old Chinese national was arrested after selling 500 grams of shabu worth P3,400,000 following a buy-bust operation at around 3:00 a.m., in Barangay Cuayan on Sunday (July 21).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga identified the arrested suspect as Long Chen, 24 years old, male, resident of Savannah Green Plains, Barangay Cuayan, Angeles City.
Recovered from Chen were one brown paper bag containing 1 resealable plastic containing the illegal substances, one smart phone and one BMW unit sedan.
According to PDEA, Chen had been in the Philippines for nearly four years and was renting a unit in Angeles City.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives of PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office and Angeles City Police Office, Station 5.
A non-bailable offense of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the apprehended suspect. (UnliNews Online)
