CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — As relief operations and recovery efforts post-Typhoon Carina continue, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Rommel Marbil took time to personally lead the distribution of aid to PNP personnel in Central Luzon who were severely affected by the flooding brought about by the onslaught of the said typhoon, early Saturday morning, (July 27) at Macabebe and Masantol police station in the province of Pampanga.
Aside from the basic commodities, P10,000 cash assistance was also handed over by Marbil to each of the 32 PRO3 beneficiaries from Bataan PPO, Bulacan PPO, Pampanga PPO, Zambales PPO and Regional Headquarters.
Additionally, the Regional Medical Unit 3 provided basic medicines and supplies, including pain relievers, antibiotics, and vitamins.
“This gesture of our Chief PNP, Gen. Marbil sends a message to everyone especially to the members of the PNP that each one is important and that as a family, the PNP cares and values everyone,” PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. (UnliNews Online)
