CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — NEPPO’s latest anti-illegal drug operations in the province resulted in the seizure of P208,420 worth of shabu and in the arrest of 5 drug traders on Tuesday (March 18).
Based on the reports submitted to Col. Ferdinand D. Germino, Provincial Director, NEPPO stated that elements of Cabanatuan City police conducted an anti-illegal drug Buy-bust operation at Purok 1 Brgy. Aduas Sur, Cabanatuan City that resulted in the arrest of two drug traders and in seizure of 25.30grams of shabu with an estimated DDB value of P172,040.
Meanwhile, elements of Gapan City, Peñaranda and Bongabon police stations also conducted a similar operation in their AORs. These resulted in the arrest of 3 drug traders. Seized from them were 5.35grams of shabu with a DDB value of P36,380.
The arrested suspects, who are now under the custody of the operating units, will be charged with Violation of RA 9165.
“We will never be tired of hunting these drug traders and make Nueva Ecija a drug-free province.” This in line with directives of Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo, PRO3 regional direcor to intensify anti-illegal drug operations in the region,” Col. Germino said. (UnliNews Online)
