SUBIC, ZAMBALES — A 49-year-old lady drug den maintainer identified by the alias Beloy was arrested during a buy-bust operation on Sunday ( Dec. 7) at around 3:15 a.m. in Barangay Calapacuan, Subic town.
The successful drug entrapment operation also resulted in the apprehension of two other suspects and the dismantling of a makeshift drug den.
PDEA Zambales Provincial Office identified the two accomplices as alias Vie, female, 54 years old; and alias Jon, male, 23 years old.
Operating teams recovered seven 7 pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing approximately 17 grams of suspected shabu worth P115,600.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, one cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.
The operation was conducted through the collaborative effort between the PDEA Zambales Provincial Office and the local police.
The suspect, alias Beloy, will be charged for a non-bailable offense under section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and section 6 (maintenance of den, dive, or resort) of Republic Act 9165. Appropriate charges under the same law will be filed against the two accomplices.
Meanwhile, another makeshift drug den was dismantled in Mabalacat City, which also led to the arrest of four drug suspects on late Friday night (December 5).
The drug sting operation yielded roughly 10 grams of shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money.
All arrested suspects are now detained at the PDEA RO3 jail facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. ( UnliNews Online
