CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — A total of 230 drug suspects were arrested and more than P4 million worth of illegal drugs seized in 160 anti-drug operations conducted by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) across Central Luzon from September 13 to 19, 2026.
PRO3 reported that the weeklong operations resulted in the seizure of assorted illegal drugs with a total estimated Standard Drug Price of P4,069,483.58.
The operations were carried out as part of the regional police office’s continuing campaign against illegal drugs across Central Luzon.
These included approximately 552.43 grams of shabu worth P3.75 million, 1,455.93 grams of marijuana leaves valued at P174,711.24, 54.33 tablets of ecstasy worth P92,355.90, and 5.51 grams of kush marijuana valued at P8,259.00.
No fatalities were recorded during the operations.
PRO3 Regional Director P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez said the weeklong accomplishment shows the sustained efforts of police units in keeping illegal drugs away from communities.
“Hindi lang natin tinitingnan ang dami ng operasyon o bilang ng mga naaresto. Ang mahalaga ay nababawasan ang illegal na droga na nakakarating sa ating mga komunidad at napapanagot ang mga sangkot dito,” Mendez said.
The operations are in line with the PNP Focused Agenda of Chief, PNP PGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr., particularly the sustained campaign against illegal drugs and other threats to peace and order.
For PRO3, the seizure of more than ?4 million worth of illegal drugs means fewer prohibited substances reaching the streets and potentially affecting families and communities.
PBGEN Mendez said police units will continue to strengthen intelligence gathering, case build-up, and coordination with communities to sustain the campaign.
