ORANI, Bataan — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan Provincial Office, along with other anti-drug units in this province, conducted a buy-bust operation resulting in the arrest of three suspects (including a high-value target) and the confiscation of some P74,800.00 worth of suspected shabu.
The operation was consummated at around 9:02 p.m. in Barangay Tugatog, Orani town, on Monday (January 19).
PDEA team leader identified the principal target of the operation as alias “JM,” male, 33 years old. Other arrested suspects were alias POY, male, 30 years old; and alias MIKE, male, 48 years old.
Apprehended suspects yielded 4 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 11 grams of shabu valued at P74,800.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, one smartphone, and the buy-bust money used by the undercover agent.
Seized illegal drugs will be forwarded to the PDEA-3 laboratory for forensic examination and confirmation.
The operation was also conducted with the support of PDEA Bataan Seaport Interdiction Unit, the Bataan PPO Drug Enforcement Unit, and the Orani Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit.
Apprehended suspects will be charged for violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Online)
