LUBAO, Pampanga — A makeshift drug den operated by a 33-year-old male suspect known as alias “Win-Win” and six of his cohorts was dismantled during a buy-bust operation on Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 4) in Brgy. Lourdes, Lubao town.
The anti-illegal drug operation was resulted in the confiscation of suspected shabu worth approximately P81,600.00.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga Provincial Office identified the six other apprehended suspects as alias Nel male, 40 years old; alias Andoy, male, 52; alias Makoy, 38, male; alias Makmak, male, 39; alias Dar, male, 26; and alias Cel, female, 40 years old.
Operatives recovered 5 sachets containing about 12 grams of suspected shabu worth P81,600.00, assorted sniffing paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
Seized illegal substances will be forwarded to the PDEA-3 laboratory for forensic examination and confirmation.
The operation was carried out through collaboration between the PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office, PDEA-3 Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET), and Lubao Police Station.
Non-bailable offenses under Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 6 (Maintenance of a Den, Dive, or Resort) of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against WIN-WIN. Appropriate charges under the same law will be filed against the other arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
