CITY OF MALOLOS – Around 1,900 Bulakenyo students from public and private colleges, universities, and senior high school students received educational aid from the Provincial Government of Bulacan during the “Tulong Pang-Edukasyon para sa Bulakenyo” General Assembly on Thursday (Feb. 26) at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium, Provincial Capitol Compound
The educational assistance amounting to P3,000 for students enrolled in state universities/colleges and public senior high schools, and P3,500 for those studying in private institutions, was directly credited to the beneficiaries’ Landbank ATM cards and could be withdrawn immediately on the same day.
In addition to the financial assistance, the beneficiaries were also provided with their own Landbank Piso Accounts to ensure that students will have a secure and accessible savings account that they can use for educational and personal financial needs.
Aside from receiving educational assistance and opening their Landbank Piso Accounts, the students also participated in orientation sessions on financial literacy, gender sensitivity, stress management, and mental health awareness, equipping them with practical knowledge beyond the classroom.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando emphasized that education remains one of the top priorities of the Provincial Government and that investing in the youth is an investment in the future of Bulacan.
“Patuloy po tayong gagawa ng mga programang pang-edukasyon na magpapagaan sa kanilang pinansyal na pasanin at susuporta sa kanilang paglalakbay sa edukasyon tungo sa pagtupad ng kanilang mga pangarap,” Fernando said. (UnliNews Online)
