Relentless drive vs online child sexual abuse, backs Chief PNP’s intensified campaign

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — In full support of Chief, Philippine National Police, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.’s directive to intensify the campaign against Online Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (OSAEC), Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has strengthened its operational and intelligence efforts across Central Luzon.

Regional Director PBGEN Jess B. Mendez ordered all units to align with the nationwide crackdown, emphasizing zero tolerance for crimes that exploit children through digital platforms.

“Our commitment is clear. We will aggressively pursue and dismantle networks involved in online child abuse. The protection of our children is non-negotiable,” Mendez said.

He directed enhanced cyber-patrol monitoring, stronger coordination with the Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) and Women and Children Protection Desks (WCPD), and the swift filing of cases against offenders.

The intensified drive forms part of the PNP Focused Agenda, reinforcing police capability and inter-agency coordination in addressing emerging digital threats.

Under the leadership of PBGEN Mendez, PRO3 reaffirms its commitment as “Pulis Central Luzon” — delivering firm enforcement, fair action, and responsive protection for the most vulnerable members of the community. (UnliNews Online)
