MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3 (PDEA-3) dismantled a makeshift drug den and arrested five drug suspects after a successful buy-bust operation at around 6:35 p.m., in Barangay Marcos Village on Saturday (April 12).
Operating teams identified the arrested suspects as alias Gino, male, 28 years old (drug den maintainer); alias Ron, male, 27 years old; alias Don-Don, male, 24 years old; alias Cely, female, 41 years old; and alias Rey, male, 52 years old.
Apprehended suspects yielded 7 plastic sachets containing approximately seven grams of suspected shabu (worth P47,600.00), assorted drug paraphernalia, one cellular phone, and the marked money.
Arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at PDEA-3 jail facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. While seized illegal substances will undergo forensic examination and confirmation at PDEA-3 laboratory.
The operation was conducted by operatives of PDEA Provincial Offices in Tarlac and Pampanga, along with Mabalacat City Police Station.
Arrested suspects will face appropriate charges under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Online)
