Most wanted for illegal drugs, 6 others fall in NEPPO manhunt ops

CAMP GEN. MARIANO N. LLANERA, Cabanatuan City — The Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office’s (NEPPO) manhunt operations in the province resulted in the arrest of a most wanted, and six others on Monday (April 27).

According to the report received by of P/Col. Ritchie R. Claravall, Provincial Director, at about 9:30 a.m., elements of Cabanatuan City PS conducted a Manhunt Charlie Operation in Barangay Lourdes, Cabanatuan City that resulted in the arrest of a 42-year-old male-resident of Barangay Sampaguita, General Tinio (Papaya), Nueva Ecija.

The accused, currently included in Cabanatuan City’s Most Wanted Persons list, was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) without bail recommended.

Meanwhile, six other wanted persons were also arrested in similar operations by Science City of Muñoz PS, Zaragoza PS (2), Talavera PS, Lupao PS, and Palayan City PS.

The said individuals are wanted for various offenses including Falsification of Public Documents, Violation of RA 7610, Estafa, Violation of a City/Municipal Ordinance, Violation of RA 9262 and Concubinage respectively.

The accused are now under police custody.

“NEPPO remains steadfast in intensifying its manhunt operations, ensuring the immediate arrest of fugitives and the effective enforcement of the law,” said P/Col. Claravall in line with the directives of P/rig. Gen. Jess B.
