CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS — Two suspected drug pushers were arrested while over P2 million worth of illegal drugs were seized by the joint forces of the Doña Remedios Trinidad Municipal Police Station, Pulilan MPS, and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit in a buy-bust operation conducted in Brgy. Cutcot, Pulilan, Bulacan on Sunday (May 10).
Based on the report released on Monday morning, the arrested suspects were identified as a 48-year-old businessman and a 56-year-old businesswoman, both residents of Brgy. Barangka, Baliwag, Bulacan.
Confiscated from the suspects were approximately 300 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of approximately P2,040,000. Also recovered were the buy-bust money of one thousand pesos, twelve pieces of boodle money, a box of Royce Potato Chip Chocolate, and a green Toyota Vios.
The arrested suspects and confiscated evidence were brought to the DRT MPS for proper documentation and filing of a case for violation of Sections 5, 11, and 26, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“We will continue to intensify the campaign against illegal drugs to protect the people from its ill effects. This successful operation is proof of the strong coordination of our police and various law enforcement agencies to maintain peace and order in the province of Bulacan,” said P/Col. Jay B.
