CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) scored another significant victory in its intensified anti-illegal drug campaign following the arrest of two High-Value Individuals (HVIs) and the confiscation of more than 410 grams of suspected shabu worth approximately P2.79 million in separate buy-bust operations in Pampanga and Nueva Ecija.

In the latest operation, operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 3 (RPDEU3) and Regional Special Operations Group 3 (RSOG3), with support from the San Fernando City Police Station and in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3, arrested a 45-year-old man, listed as High-Value Individual, during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. San Jose, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on June 1, 2026.

Meanwhile, in Nueva Ecija, operatives of the Talavera Municipal Police Station arrested another High-Value Individual during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. San Miguel na Munti, Talavera on May 31, 2026.

PRO3 Regional Director P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez commended the operating units for the successful operations and reiterated the organization’s firm resolve against illegal drugs.

“The arrest of these High-Value Individuals and the substantial volume of illegal drugs removed from circulation reflect the effectiveness of our intelligence-driven operations and the dedication of our personnel on the ground. We will continue to pursue drug personalities relentlessly and strengthen our efforts to protect our communities from the harmful effects of illegal drugsMendez said.

He added that PRO3 remains steadfast in supporting the anti-illegal drug campaign of the Philippine National Police through proactive, people-centered, and professional policing anchored on the PNP Focused Agenda.

The twin operations underscore PRO3’s sustained commitment to keeping Central Luzon safe through aggressive law enforcement efforts and the delivery of “Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.” (UnliNews Online)
