CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) intensified its anti-criminality campaign across Central Luzon, resulting in the arrest of 37 wanted persons, the confiscation of illegal drugs and firearms, and the apprehension of dozens of violators in anti-illegal fishing operations within a 24-hour period.
Among those arrested were two Top Most Wanted Persons in Norzagaray, Bulacan and Peñaranda, Nueva Ecija, as well as two Most Wanted Persons in Marilao and Sta. Maria, Bulacan, underscoring PRO3’s sustained efforts to track down fugitives and bring them before the courts.
The region’s campaign against illegal drugs also gained momentum with the arrest of 35 drug suspects and the confiscation of illegal drugs valued at P619,337.00, based on the standard drug price.
Meanwhile, PRO3’s drive against loose firearms led to the surrender and confiscation of 16 firearms, further supporting efforts to prevent gun-related crimes and enhance public safety.
In separate anti-illegal fishing operations, police arrested 58 individuals in five operations and seized evidence worth P1,469,500.00.
PBGEN Jess B. Mendez, Regional Director of PRO3, commended the operating units for their relentless commitment to law enforcement and public safety.
“These accomplishments reflect the dedication and vigilance of our personnel in carrying out their duties. Our operations against wanted persons, illegal drugs, loose firearms, and other unlawful activities will continue as we work to keep our communities safe and secure,” PBGEN Mendez said.
