CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) intensified its campaign against wanted persons with the arrest of all 10 individuals listed as Regional Level Top Ten Most Wanted Persons for September 2026, most of whom are facing charges for rape and other serious offenses.
The arrests were made in separate manhunt operations across Central Luzon. Bataan, Bulacan, and Nueva Ecija recorded two arrests each, while Aurora, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Angeles City accounted for one arrest each. All 10 wanted persons were apprehended within 36 hours of the intensified operations.
For PRO3, the accomplishment is significant not simply because the entire list was accounted for, but because of the nature of the cases involved. With most of those arrested facing rape charges, their apprehension is an important step toward protecting women, children, and other vulnerable members of the community and ensuring that those accused of serious crimes are brought before the courts to answer the charges against them.
Their arrest also gives victims and their families the opportunity to pursue justice without the added fear and uncertainty of knowing that an accused person remains at large. More broadly, taking wanted persons off the streets helps remove potential threats to communities and reinforces public confidence that those who attempt to evade the judicial process will continue to be pursued.
PRO3 Regional Director P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez said the campaign against wanted persons will remain relentless, especially against individuals facing charges for crimes that deeply affect the safety and dignity of victims.
“This accomplishment is not simply about completing a list. Most of those arrested are facing rape charges and other serious offenses that have a lasting impact on victims, their families, and the community. Bringing them before the courts is an important step toward justice and toward making our communities safer,” Mendez said.
He added that PRO3 will sustain its manhunt operations through stronger intelligence gathering, closer coordination among operating units, and greater accountability at the station level. (UnliNes Online)
