SUBIC, Zambales — A 40-year-old male suspect included in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) regional target list of drug personalities was arrested inside a makeshift drug den following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Matain, Subic town on Tuesday evening (August 4).
The operation also led to the arrest of three other suspects and confiscation of some P68,000.00 worth of shabu.
PDEA Zambales Provincial Officer identified the main target by his alias “Chris”. Other arrested suspects were identified by their aliases as Ann, female, 22 years old; Ric, male, 32 years old; and Junior, make, 57 years old.
Apprehended suspects yielded 7 pieces of plastic transparent sachets containing roughly 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
The operation was conducted by the combined elements of PDEA Zambales Provincial Office, PNP Drug Enforcement Group SOU-3, and AFP Philippine Army Bravo Company, 68 Infantry Batallion, 7ID.
Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are now being prepared for filing. (UnliNews Online)
